After graduating from Rosepine High School, “Danny” attended Mc Neese State University, later choosing to pursue a career in meat-cutting and attending school in Toledo, Ohio.
After perfecting his skills, he became the owner of several meat markets in Lake Charles and De Ridder, later managing both Piggly Wiggly and Brookshire Brothers’ meat markets over the span of more than 25 years and becoming a valued butcher to many friends in the De Ridder area.
