There was no epic plot that made me get interested in this book.I only got slightly interested when Stephen came into the picture, and it wasn't by a lot.So Katelyn has to give guys she's written off a third chance and report on it as Mother Hubbard.However, this is all complicated by the fact that Katelyn has a crush on Tyler, who in turn likes Katelyn's roommate, Sophia.She has a little pink book where she has a code to rate her dates. The relationships between characters in this book were all over the place.All of this doesn't set well with the students she writes to anonymously. Overall it was a cute fast read, but the story could have been written better. These books, the “romantic comedies” from Simon pulse remind me of being in high school and fed my hopeless romantic ways, so it’s fun to revisit them from time to time. Not sure why anyone would care so much about some random person's love life.As a former newspaper reporter, she was honored by her peers with eleven journalism awards, including first place news writing for The Texas Press Association.

The first-person perspective is well written with a great grasp of an eighteen-year-old's mind.
I was really not into the book from the very beginning.
There was no real drama going on, only this dating trial.
